1. What are the main ingredients in Caitoucake?

Caitoucake contains radish, chinese sausage (lap cheong), dried shrimps (hê-bí) and a special concoction of flour and spices.

2. Is Caitoucake gluten free?

No.

3. I am allergic to some of the listed ingredients, can I order Caitoucake without those ingredients?

Apart from the concoction of flour and spices, we are able to customise other parts of the recipe to remove the chinese sausage or dried shrimps. You will be able to select these options when placing an order through our website.

4. Is there a Vegan option for Caitoucake and does it contain alliums?

Yes, we do offer a vegan option to suit your dietary needs. The chinese sausage and dried shrimps will be replaced with a blend of shitake mushrooms, carrots, and celery. Our cakes do not contain any alliums.

5. Is there also a Vegan option for One Punch Chilli?

Our homemade chilli sauce is 100% vegan but contains alliums. Unfortunately at this stage we are unable to provide an alliums free option.

6. How long can I store Caitoucake for?

Our cakes can be kept fresh in the fridge chiller compartment for up to 1 week. Please be sure to use a clean knife when portioning and reseal it properly to prevent contamination. To heat up the cakes, simply air-fry / pan-fry (highly recommended!) / steam / microwave!  

7. Can I freeze Caitoucake?

Yes, as with all foods, you can freeze the cake to extend its shelf life. Simply defrost the cakes prior to heating it up via air-fry / pan-fry (highly recommended!) / steam / microwave!
